KR ONE Started: 1977 Primary affiliations: BYB, BTB Local origin: Astoria, Queens - NYC Main lines: BMT division KR ONE of Queens, started his writing career in 1977. He was influenced by writers such as DEAN BYB, JESTER TC, T59, TRACY 168 and the late DONDI CIA. KR was a well rounded writer. During the early 1980s KR put forth his most significant effort painting on trains. Though he dedicated a great deal of his career to the BMT division, he also hit INDs and IRTs. He balanced his efforts with throw-ups,insides and peices. He wrote with a variety of writers including FOME, MIDG, PAZE with whom he produced several whole cars on the IRT 5 line, made famous by the book Subway Art.
